Barnið

A baby app for both parents. Sleep, feeds, nappies and vitamin D on one shared timeline, so nobody has to ask “when did she last eat?” at three in the morning.

01 · Why

For both parents

Most baby trackers assume one parent holds the phone. In Barnið, whoever is up logs it and the other parent sees it instantly, on their own phone.

02 · Now

Real families in Iceland

Live on iPhone, in Icelandic, and used through the night by families who found it on TikTok and in parent groups.

03 · Next

Norway next

A Norwegian launch is coming. The Android app is in development, so a parent with an iPhone and a parent with an Android phone can share one timeline.

  1. First commit: the design spec
  2. The PM agent takes over the backlog
  3. Version 1.1 on the App Store
  4. Android port starts
  5. Barnið in Norwegian

Built by a team of AI agents. I run the team.

I'm product lead and PM: I set the direction, the priorities and the bar. Every change then goes through the same gates. No merge with an open major design finding or a failing test, and a written decision before every merge. The shell below is live: ask it.

Bókun

I work at Bókun, a Tripadvisor company that makes booking and distribution software for tour and activity operators.

Before that I was at Sidekick Health, where I started in QA and moved into backend work in Java, Spring Boot and Python. I studied software engineering at Reykjavík University. I'm from Egilsstaðir, and I like software that is simple, scales, and is easy to debug at a bad hour.
